RESIDENTS can drop into St Albans fire station today for its annual open day.
Crews will be demonstrating the importance of fire safety as well as handing out advice to visitors.
All donations collected on the day will go the fire service's benevolent fund - a charity supporting serving and retired firefighters.
The station in London Road will open its doors to the public from midday until 4pm.
