A ST ALBANS accountant has been named as the best operator of her franchise in Britain.
Audrey Summers, who runs the Accounts Assist franchise in St Albans, has been chosen as the company's Franchisee of the Year.
She said: "There are many small businesses in St Albans and running my business offering bookkeeping and accountancy services has given me the pleasure of meeting and working with many of them.
"That said the economic climate is not easy and it has been tough - it is fantastic to have my hard work recognised by the Accounts Assist head office.
"I am looking forward to the forthcoming year and the new challenges to develop my business further."
