THREE mobility scooters stolen from Welwyn at the beginning of December were torched last night in a suspected arson attack.
Firefighters were called to Node Way Gardens, Welwyn Garden City, at 7.30pm where the scooters were found ablaze.
Police were also called to the scene and an investigation is underway into the suspected arson attack.
An appeal was launched last month after the mobility scooters were stolen from Welwyn village in what police described as a “despicable” crime.
