STAFF and children at a London Colney school dressed as book characters for the day to celebrate Comic Relief.
Pupils of all ages at London Colney Primary School left their uniforms at home yesterday as they turned into their favourite fictional characters.
Stepping into the spirit of the day, headteacher Lisa Valla dressed as an umpa lumpa from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
