St Albans resident names 60s songs in radio quiz

A man from St Albans has scooped a £1,000 prize in a national radio competition by guessing the songs in a mix tape.

Phil Goodfellow entered Absolute Radio’s competition on Thursday, January 26, and managed to guess the song and artist of all four music clips from the 60s.

He said: “I was absolutely thrilled to win, absolutely thrilled.

“I had listened and tried to enter over several days but it’s a tough competition.”

The huge 60s music fan plans to put his prize money towards a new car for him and his wife.
