CMC Consulting Ltd shortlisted for National Council for Work Experience Award

A recruitment company in St Albans has been shortlisted for a national award for the internship opportunities it offers to young people.

CMC Consulting Ltd in Hatfield Road is in the running for a National Council for Work Experience Award.

The awards, which are now in their ninth year, recognises businesses from all sectors that provide student and graduate internships.

Jennifer Wright, who works for the company, said: “We are very proud to have made the shortlist for this award.

“Our graduate scheme provides graduates with the opportunity to gain experience within a business environment whilst acquiring a combination of recruitment and transferable skills.

“We invest a lot of time and effort into training our interns with the hope that they will go on to join our recruitment team on a permanent basis.”

The winner will be announced at a ceremony at Merchant Taylor’s Hall in London on Tuesday, March 20.
