Pupils at a performing arts school in St Albans did not let yesterday’s extreme weather conditions stand in the way of their latest performance.
Children, parents and teachers arrived via sledges and toboggans for the Penny Waterman School of Dance’s production of Oliver at Harpenden Public Halls.
Penny Waterman, who runs the dance school, said: “It was absolutely fantastic.
“The children were looking forward to it so much.
“They had a really long day.”
The school’s latest production combined dancing students with children in the new musical theatre classes.
