A golf club in Redbourn is giving pubs across Hertfordshire the chance to prove they have the best golfing regulars.
Redbourn Golf Club’s annual pub challenge will take place on Friday, February 24, and there are still last minute places available.
The reigning champions, The Coopers Arms in Hitchin, will be back this year to defend their title.
Ian McDowell, general manager at the club, said: “The challenge is always a keenly contested event with the county’s pubs determined to prove they have the best golfers in Herts.
“Last year saw an amazing feat as The Coopers Arms claimed victory with a team that included Billy MacAllister – a golfer who is remarkably totally blind.”
For more information and to sign up for the challenge contact the club on 01582 793493 or email info@redbourngc.co.uk.
