The Paralympic Torch visited Sainsbury’s in London Colney on Friday – to the delight of flag-waving youngsters.
More than 80 people visited the store to see the iconic flame, which is currently travelling around the county in the lead up to this year’s games.
Residents had the chance to try their hands at sit down volleyball in a match against the team carrying the torch.
Laura Dawson, a HR Clark for the supermarket who attended the event on Friday, said: “It was a really great day.
“I think it really raises awareness of the Paralympics and everything that is going on.”
