Students at a school in St Albans had the chance to learn more about the dangers of racism during a football workshop.
The organisation Show Racism the Red Card, which uses football to educate people about discrimination, visited Townsend Church of England School on Thursday, February 9.
Year seven students heard an assembly from representatives from the campaign, and then took part in a series of football-related activities.
Fallon Ismail, manager of the school’s discovery centre, said: "The sessions concentrated on teamwork and using everybody within the team to make the game a success.
"They all thoroughly enjoyed the session, especially the heading the ball in teams at the end."
