TWO new environmentally friendly buses will be on the streets in St Albans later this month.
The UNO diesel electric hybrid buses have been bought with a grant from the Green Bus funding from the Department of Transport (DfT) and help from Hertfordshire County Council.
The vehicles consume less fuel, have lower emissions than standard buses and qualify for a low emission certificate.
They will be in service from Wednesday, March 14.
