WORSHIPPERS will gather on Easter Monday for the annual pilgrimage to St Albans Abbey.
The pilgrimage has been running for more than 60 years and has become an important way for people to celebrate Easter.
Delegations from churches across the St Albans diocese, many who will come several miles on foot, will make their journey to the abbey, where they will gather at 2pm for pre-service music and activities in the nave.
This will be followed by a pilgrimage communion service at 3pm, led by the bishops of St Albans and Hertford.
