TWO men arrested on suspicion of burglary following a dramatic police chase in St Albans, have been released on bail.
An 18-year-old and 21-year-old, both from Hemel Hempstead, were caught by police in Ladies Grove, St Albans, on Monday, May 28.
On the day officers were called to reports of a burglary in Breadcroft Lane, Harpenden, at about 12.30pm. A short while later a car matching the description the three men were seen leaving the scene in was seen in the Harpenden Road area.
Police gave chase before the vehicle was abandoned in Batchwood Drive and the men made off on foot.
The third man, an 18-year-old from Hemel Hempstead, was also arrested but released without any further action.
