CHILDREN at a St Albans school came together to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in style.
St Peter's School, in Cottonmill Lane, held a party on Thursday, May 31, when pupils, staff and parents came in 1950s fancy dress.
To mark the occasion they enjoyed a day of themed event and a street party for which staff prepared bunting and children made flags.
Michael Connell, headteacher, said: "We have a had a super day and I would like to thank everyone who has made it such a great celebration."
