A DECISION on controversial plans for a huge rail freight terminal to be built near Radlett, has been delayed yet again.

St Albans MP Anne Main was informed in the last few hours that the Secretary of State's decision on the appeal will not be made for at least one month.

This is the second time the outcome has been postponed, after the date was initially moved from March to June.

Cathy Bolshaw, member of campaign group STRiFE which opposes the plans, said she was "suprised".

She added: "I'm very suprised the decision has been delayed again.

"But I can only think that any delay is in our favour. We'll just have to wait again."
