St Albans MP Anne Main has responded to news that the Radlett rail freight decision has been delayed yet again.
The Secretary of State was due to announce his outcome on the appeal tomorrow.
However it has been postponed.
Mrs Main said: βIt is enormously frustrating that this matter is dragging on for so long; the threat of this development is blighting the lives of my constituents.
"Whilst I can understand the need for due process it seems to me that the developer has thrown so much money and pressure behind this proposal that it has inevitably caused delays to occur.
"This protracted legal challenge is not in the best interests of St Albans and whilst this news is disappointing I am still hopefully that even after this amount of time the correct decision will be made.β
