An Indian restaurant in St Albans says it entertained a very special guest last night - Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise.
Darshit Hora, the manager of Veer Dhara, in St Peters Street, said the actor arrived with several companions and bodyguards yesterday evening.
Mr Hora said the bodyguards asked him to make sure the meal was a low key affair.
The restaurant was quite busy at the time with regulars.
The group stayed for around an hour.
Mr Hora said: "It's absolutely wonderful, to have a Hollywood star here is very good for the restaurant."
Cruise's divorce was finalised on Monday.
Two weeks ago it was revealed that a new Tom Cruise film is set to be shot at Leavesden Studios.
Chancellor George Osbourne made the announcement while speaking at a series of business summits in London. Science fiction thriller All You Need Is Kill also stars Emily Blunt.
