A fish and grill restaurant in St Albans has been praised in a good food guide.
Lussmanns Fish & Grill Restaurants, in Waxhouse Gate, has been recognised in the newly published Which? Good Food Guide 2013 and Raymond Blanc OBE, President of the Sustainable Restaurant Association
Recommending Lussmanns for a fourth consecutive year, The Good Food Guide 2013 describes the independent restaurant group as an ‘antidote to bland high street brands’ where diners can enjoy ‘relaxed unfussy dining’ with ‘excellent customer service’.
The restaurants have two branches at Waxhouse Gate, St Albans and Flore Street, Hertford.
Andrei Lussmann said: "It doesn't get much better than breaking bread with Raymond Blanc. Our dinner was a delightful feast of discussion."
In the same week, Raymond Blanc OBE highlighted owner Andrei Lussmann’s commitment to welfare and sustainability and the importance of supporting local producers.
Raymond Blanc visited Lussmanns where he greeted staff and diners before enjoying a late supper with Andrei Lussmann.
