Friday, November 2

Simeon James Dacre, 32, of Langley Grove, Sandridge. On October 30, 2012, with another, stole an iPad and accessories from Asda, Hatfield. Committed to prison for four months, suspended for two years. Suspended sentence order includes curfew (12 weeks) requirement. Costs: £167.

Wayne Stephen Paul Gerry, 37, of The Cottages, Park Street. On August 15, 2012, assaulted a person by beating her; also, on same date, damaged a car and a mobile phone belonging to another; on October 25, 2012, failed to surrender to custody. Community order made with programme and supervision requirements. Compensation, costs: £757.

Richard Owen Bramwell, 39, of Haig Close, St Albans. On October 23, 2012, cultivated 10 plants of the genus cannabis, a class B drug. Fine, costs: £305.

Saturday, November 3

Simon Andrew Shepherd, 35, of Burnside, St Albans. On September 17, 2012, stole three bottles of wine and a pair of socks from Morrisons, St Albans; also, on May 20, 2012, assaulted a person by beating her and, on October 18, 2012, failed to surrender to custody. Committed to prison for 20 weeks.

Monday, November 5

Michelle Louise Bunker, 37, of High Street, London Colney. On October 24, 2012, drove in Cell Barnes Lane, St Albans, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 61 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Fine, costs: £215. Banned from driving for 17 months, to be reduced by 17 weeks if approved course undertaken.

Afzal Miah, 21, of Dellfield, St Albans. On October 24, 2012, was in possession of a wrap of cocaine, a class A drug. Fine, costs: £215.

Matthew Ryan Callum, 21, of White Horse Lane, London Colney. On September 7, 2012, was in possession of a weapon designed or adapted to emit an electrical discharge. Community order made with unpaid work (100 hours) requirement. Costs: £85.

Stephen Melville Fowler, 51, of Martins Court, Swallow Lane, St Albans. Between September 11, 2009, and October 8, 2009, failed to reveal identity of driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fine, costs: £265. Banned from driving for six months.

Simon Andrew Shepherd, 35, of Burnside, St Albans. On November 1, 2012, assaulted a community support officer in the execution of his duty; also, on same date, used threatening, abusive or insulting words. Committed to prison for 21 days.

Jermaine Soloman Jordan Beeson, 19, of Folly Avenue, St Albans. Failed to attend payback into employment session as instructed on September 13, 2012. Community order varied with additional activity requirement. Costs: £40.

Ashley Jason Alexander, 19, of Longfield Road, Harpenden. On October 19, 2012, used or threatened unlawful violence towards others. Also, on October 8, 2012, failed to attend supervision requirement of community order made on October 1, 2012 for driving car which knew had been taken without consent of owner and, on August 28, 2012, damaged back window and back door belonging to another. Community order revoked and new one made with activity, programme and supervision requirements. Costs: £87.

On September 23, 2012, damaged an internal door belonging to another; also, on same date, had in possession an American Pitbull terrier, contrary to Dangerous Dogs Act. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Unless an exemption is obtained within two months, dog to be destroyed. Fine, costs: £515.

Lynn McCarthy, 43, of Mile House Lane, St Albans. On May 31, 2012, drove in London Road, St Albans, while using a hand-held telephone. Fine, costs: £365. Three penalty points.

Ruby Dosanjh Bagri, 42, of Newlyn Close, Bricket Wood. On May 7, 2012, drove in Park Street, at 38mph, the legal limit being 30mph. Fine, costs: £240. Three penalty points.
