Ashley McCluskey, 19, of Cell Barnes Lane, St Albans. On May 6, 2014, was in possession of a bag of cannabis, a class B drug. Fine, costs: £178.
Ashley James Roper, 22, of Grove Road, Harpenden. Application to reopen case for offence of speeding. On October 5, 2013, in Lower Luton Road, Harpenden, drove at a speed in excess of the 30mph limit. Fine, costs: £305. Six penalty points.
Rodney Bishop, 48, of Newgate Close, St Albans. On December 27, 2013, stole plumbing equipment from B&Q, Luton; also, on same date, drove in B&Q car park while disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence; also, on same date, used a motor vehicle without insurance. Community order made with unpaid work requirement. Banned from driving for 12 months. Fine, costs: £660.
Ryan Jarret, 24, of Tassell Hall, Redbourn. On January 21, 2014, stole a bottle of motor oil from Shell garage, St Albans. Discharged conditionally for six months. Costs: £100.
The following were convicted of being those in whose names vehicles were registered when they did not meet the insurance requirements of the Road Traffic Act (fine plus costs in brackets): Sarah Paulsen, 44, of Holywell Hill, St Albans (£330); Ann Quirke, 50, of Batchwood Drive, St Albans (£330).
