Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a young woman was sexually assaulted in Hatfield on Saturday (November 5).
The incident happened between 2pm and 2.30am off Bishops Rise.
A young woman was walking from the Forum to halls of residence on Bishops Rise when she was followed by a man, who walked into the halls behind her and sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is described as a man aged 20 to 25, of Asian appearance, with a medium build and about 5ft 7ins to 5ft 10ins tall. He was wearing a grey jacket, dark trousers and a black hat.
Detective Inspector Steve Keating, investigating from the Sexual Offences Investigation Team, said: "I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and saw a man matching the offender description to contact me.
