THE Review's campaign to celebrate the achievements of young people in our district has won the backing of Masterchef star Gregg Wallace.
The celebrity food guru and co-host of the BBC 2 show insists that young people's efforts should be 'recognised and applauded'.
The KiDs campaign, which aims to give credit to young people's prosperities, is gaining momentum everyday with more and more respected figures lending their support.
Rugby lover Gregg, who has two children of his own, Tom, 15, and Libby, 12, said: "As a rugby coach I know how important it is to recognise personal achievement in young people.
"All effort should be recognised and applauded. What we want is young people achieving through effort and commitment. If they are displaying these admirable skills we need to celebrate it."
So far, we have enlisted the support of St Albans MP Anne Main, well-known Tory MP Ann Widdecombe, along with other local politicians.
