Crowds across the Midlands gathered at a number of street parties to celebrate the royal wedding.
Many fans of the royal family came out in bright sunshine to watch proceedings while dressed in Union flag hats and waving flags.
In Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, the Trent Valley District Association Camping and Caravanning Club decorated their caravans in red, white and blue bunting as well as flags and pictures of Prince Harry and Meghan.
More than 50 families sat on camping chairs in a large marquee to follow proceedings on a big screen.
Throughout the ceremony, many waved their flags and sang along to Stand By Me and the national anthem.
Loud cheers greeted the moment Harry and Meghan were pronounced husband and wife, and another when they kissed on the steps outside the chapel.
After the service, food and drink was laid out for a tea party to celebrate the wedding.
Stella Harrison, of Nottingham, said: “I thought it was a beautiful day, a beautiful wedding.
“It was quite emotional, I cried quite a bit.”
Jo Down, of Chesterfield, Derbyshire, said: “I thought she looked simply stunning.
“They seemed very much in love. That’s the bit that got me.”
