TICKETS are now on sale for the Retailer of the Year gala awards evening 2009.

Priced at a credit crunch-busting £5, the ticket includes food, a complimentary glass of wine and you will be treated to an evening packed full of entertainment.

From the jazz bands to the awards itself – it is an evening not to be missed.

Tickets for the awards night – which will be held at the Alban Arena on Monday, June 29 – can be purchased in person from the district council’s Tourist Information Office, based at the Town Hall, via the Market Place entrance.

They can also be ordered by email.

Simply email revieweditor@london.newsquest.co.uk specifying how many tickets you would like to purchase.

Review editor Martin Buhagiar said: “I can hardly believe that a year has passed since the first Retailer of the Year awards.

“It was an incredible evening and hopefully we can top it in 2009.

“I would particularly like to thank the local businesses who have supported this event despite the current economic climate. Without them, we simply could not do it again.

“This event is purely about backing local traders so we hope to see as many local people on June 29th as possible.”
