SANRIZZ proved to be cream of the crop in this year's hunt to find St Albans number one hair and beauty salon in our annual Retailer of the Year competition.

With double the amount of entries compared to last year in the Hair and Beauty category, it was a close shave for all the shortlisted candidates including Ginger Natural Health, Eve & Adam, Greys Hairdressers and Wilde About Hair.

But there could only be one winner on the night.

The award, sponsored by Cafe Paprika, was presented to Sanrizz by council officer Maria Cutler at a gala evening in the Alban arena.

Salon manager Sarah Sandwell said: "Something as prestigious as a Retailer of the Year award, which is voted for by real people, means the world to us at Sanrizz.

"The standard of hair salons in and around St Albans is always phenomenally high so to win against such a high calibre means we are absolutely over the moon and it creates such a buzz for the whole team and motivates them all year round.

"We are planning on a special thankyou evening on Monday, July 20, at 7pm where we will be providing wine and delicious nibbles and everyone is free to drop in for complimentary treatments.

"Thank you to the people of St Albans for recognising the Sanrizz Salon."
