L’Italiana has been named the winner of the Cafes and Restaurants category of this year’s Retailer of the Year competition.
Staff from the Italian pizzeria, which is based in French Row, were presented with the award by the competition’s committee’s newest member Councillor Heidi Allen.
The restaurant beat off competition from Bar Espresso, Darcys Restaurant, Singhli and Freddie’s to take home the prize.
L’Italiana take the title from last year’s winner Freddie’s, which is based in Adelaide Street.
The category is sponsored by Christopher Place.
