This week and next the South Herts Branch of CAMRA will undergo their annual quest for Mild Ale. Any real ale drinkers are welome to join us The first is in St.Albans on Friday 16th May It starts at 7.00 pm at the Six Bells, the silver medallist in our Pub of the Year and then onto the Lower Red Lion (8.00pm) and the Mermaid (9.00pm), our Cider Pub of the Year, The Farmers Boy (9.45) where the resident brewer will be present to answer questions and finally to the White Hart Tap (10.30pm) The second is in Hertford on Tuesday 20th May. This starts at the Black Horse at 8.00pm bwfore continuing to the White Horse (8.45 pm), the Old Barge (9.30pm) before finishing at the Old Cross Tavern(10.15) Based on information supplied by Kevin Lea.
