THE winner of the BBC series "The One and Only" is set to wow the crowds in Chesham this month.

Katy Setterfield has returned to the UK for a brand new show, which builds on her winning performance as Dusty Springfield. Having toured all over the world and won the nation's hearts for her performance as Dusty, "Here Come the Girls" sees Katy perform as a number of other singers, including Cher, Tina Turner and Annie Lennox. Chalfont born Katy said: "I can't wait to be at the wonderfully intimate Elgiva."

CHILDREN are being invited to join in the fun of Outdoor Play Week with the Forestry Commission and Play England in an effort to get them playing outside more.

The event set in Wendover Woods will offer a host of activities ranging from scavenger hunts to orienteering. Families are invited along between 10am and 4pm from March to 21 to take part in all that is on offer for free.

O'NEILL'S in High Wycombe is the place to be to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year, with the the Irish bar laying on a host of activities.

Live music, Irish dancers and a selection of traditional Irish dishes will all be on offer, as well as extra supplies of Guinness, ensuring that this will be the perfect place to celebrate the day on March 17. O’Neill’s High Wycombe manager, Claire Roberts said: “If it’s anything like last year, St Patrick’s Day at O’Neill’s High Wycombe promises to be one of the biggest and most enjoyable events of the year."

A SHOW combining the best in Irish dance and music will perform at the Chesham Elgiva, offering a unique blend of all things Irish.

Essence of Ireland sees the audience captivated by the combination of live music, traditional and modern songs, as well as the spectacle of the finest Irish dancers all in one show.
