ALTHOUGH the popular TV programme, Frozen Planet, has now finished there is still a chance to see some wintry friends at a stage near you.
Follow the adventures of Miki, Polar Bear and Penguin at Norden Farm's Christmas Show, Miki by Stephen Mackey.
The story follows the little girl, Miki, who makes a wish and finds herself taken on a magical journey as she tried to catch a star that will shine forever.
The adventure takes the friends underwater where they meets all types of amazing creatures including a starfish and a narwhal.
The book, Miki, was chosen for this year's production with the help from local school children.
Teachers at Eton Wick First School read the book to all of their classes: years one to four. The children discussed it with teachers, including their favourite part and what they thought might happen next. The feedback from the school was a big influence in the decision to bring Miki to the stage.
Norden Farm will once again be working with theatre company, Slot Machine, who have written an original live soundtrack, featuring some great sing-a-long songs.
Miki is at Norden Farm until December 31 every day, besides Christmas Day at 11am and 2pm. On Boxing Day show times are 1.30pm and 4.30pm. Tickets are £11 and £9 for under 16s from 01628788997 or book online at www.nordenfarm.org.
