One of the largest model railways in the country opened to the public at the weekend.
Brambleton Model Railway Club hosted an open day club’s grounds adjacent to Highfield Oval, in Ambrose Lane.
Visitors had the chance to view the 0 gauge layout consisting of nine stations on a 1/8 of a mile loop of double track, along with live steam engines.
Brambleton Model Railway Club began life as an unofficial boys club in 1947 before forming as the Brambleton Model Railway Club in January 1956.
