Thousands of people gathered for fireworks displays across St Albans and Harpenden this weekend.
Colours burst into the skies on Saturday as families flocked to Verulamium Park for its annual spectacular.
St Albans Abbey has organised the display for more than 20 years, and proceeds from the event will be given to charity.
The Abbey provides a beautiful backdrop for the fireworks and crowds watched in amazement as colours illuminate the lake on the park.
In other areas of the district residents enjoyed displays at the Jersey Farm adventure playground, Redbourn Common and Crabtree School playing fields.
