THE council refused Helioslough planning permission on a sound, legal and reasonable basis, barrister Matthew Reed has argued in response to the company's costs applicication.
He said: “The council has given justification for its reasons for refusal.
“No consideration was given by the appellant to sites outside the north-west sector.
“And the methodology for examining sites within that sector was defective.
“The council has acted entirely reasonably.
“For the appellant to complain at the council's approach is entirely unjustifiable.”
