Harvesters tame Maccabi Lions

Harvesters Under-9s North won a hard-fought match at Maccabi Lions 2-0.

The goals were scored by Will Robinson and Luke Gibbard. A Man-of-the-Match performance by Oliver Gautier capped off a fine display.

The Under-10s North went out of the County Cup losing 2-0 to Gaddesden Falcons.

Harvesters Under-10s West stayed top of the league thanks to a commanding 7-1 win against Panathinaikos. Goals from Leo Gordon-Brown, Oliver Rushbrooke, Man-of-the-Match Ahmed Brechill, who bagged a brace, and a hat-trick from Pat Dee doing the damage.

Harvesters Under-11s South blew a 3-1 half-time lead against Belmont White in the Challenge Cup before losing 4-3. Goals from Shai Coombs and Ade Oyefusi (2) were not enough to prevent defeat.

Harvesters Under-11s North beat Croxley Guild Clarets 5-2 in the cup with a double from Sam Mistry and one each from Chris Rowe, Lucas King and Edward Cleaver. Defender Max Hodgeson was Man-of-the-Match.

Harvesters Under-12s South progressed into the next round of the League Cup on penalties. After giving up a three goal lead, the team fought hard to claim a 4-4 draw against Pinnacle with strikes from Jack Hawthorne, Jo Shobeiry, George Hayford and Scot Gentle.

The Under-12s North moved into the second round of the Challenge Cup after overcoming a strong Enfield Rangers side 3-1 thanks to goals from George O'Connor, Owen Gould and Finbar King.

Harvesters Girls Under-12s sealed a fine 3-1 win over Croxley Guild; Carly Amor and Tilly Moss (2) getting on the score-sheet.

The Under-13s South ran out 4-3 winners over Gadeside with Mario Integlia, Oliver Russell, Max Bunting and Tom Naylor grabbing the goals.

Harvesters Under-13s girls were denied a cup final place after a late winner by rivals Bury Rangers who squeezed through 3-2.

The game ebbed and flowed with first Harvesters taking the lead through Julia Draper before Bury scored twice in response.

Harvesters got back on level terms with an equaliser from Maya Yapp, but Bury scored a cruel winner at the death.

Harvesters Under-15s North eased comfortably into the second round of the League Cup with a convincing 7-2 win against Cassiobury Rangers.

Sam Gisby led the scoring with a brace and Conor Sweeney, Myles Shahidi, Nathan Dimmock, Tyler Guerra and James Merritt all weighed in. Matthew McCallum’s solid defensive display earned him Man-of-the-Match.

Ali Jones and Charlie Scott scored for Harvesters Under-15s South, but the team went down 4-2 to Muswell Hill.
