London Colney Blues ease past Warriors

Connor McGrath scored a brace in London Colney Blues’ 5-1 win over Warriors XI in their Bingham Cox Cup replay.

Further goals from Eamon Rodgers, Aaron Ames and Hamza Chewtouf put the Blues through while Caner Ozgul scored for Warriors.

FC Letchworth were made to pay for the sending off of an outfield player with AFC Baldock profiting to record a 4-2 win in the Benevolent Shield mini-league.

Olly Catley, Michael Mabbitt, Mat Ryall and Scott Hagland registered the Baldock goals while Bill Ewing and Steven Young responded for Letchworth.

A debut goal from Robert Kaye wasn’t enough to stop Buntingford Cougars’ season-long losing run as a brace from Richard Hall plus strikes from Paul Underwood and Sam Miller earned St Ippolyts a 4-1 victory over hapless Buntingford.

Brandon Bates’ goal for Barmond United was drowned out by goals from Stephen Newton (2), Daniel Saunders (2), Jordon Scott (2), Ben Warren(2), John Shearer, Jamie Leech, Lloyd Jones, and Chris Cross as unbeaten Tansley stormed to a 12-1 success.
