St Albans Rangers’ six teams who played last weekend all emerged unbeaten from their games.

The Under-13s played their fixture versus Borehamwood a man light but still came away with a 3-0 win thanks to two goals from Omar and one from Josh Hiller with the entire team earning the man-of-the-match accolade having triumphed against the odds.

The Under-9s Red closed the gap on league leaders Vipers with a 1-0 success over Crostyx courtesy of man-of-the-match Oscar Reeves’ effort after Bayler Shipp’s shot was well-saved.

Harvesters gave St Albans Rangers Under-10s Red a scare when they deservedly went 1-0 up by half-time. However an improved performance from Rangers in the second half, inspired by man-of-the-match Bradley Young, was capped off by Matt Mooney’s finish in the 1-1 draw.

Another draw was played out in the Under-10s age group with goals from Sebastian Pound, Harrison Shipp and Jack Geldard scoring for Blue.

Pound cleared a Hadley Rangers shot off the line and was man-of-the-match as it finished 3-3.

St Albans Rangers Under-11s Red played Alexandra Park South and Oliver Taits and Louis Shaw scored the Saints’ goals in a 2-2 draw in which William Manchester’s performance won him the man-of-the-match award.

St Albans Rangers 95/96 eased to a 5-2 victory in their first game since the middle of December with Connor McGrath scoring a hat-trick and Daniel Lenihan and James Plummer adding to the Rangers tally. Farhan Ahmed’s display up front earned him the individual honours from the game.
