Teenage karter Josh Price made a strong challenge at the Junior Rotax Winter Cup in Spain.

The Redbourn Super One karter stormed to victory in the first two qualifying heats before finishing second in the third heat. This performance earned him pole position in the final which took place in Campillos.

But Price suffered a setback after being shunted off three quarters of the way around the first lap. He battled on but the damage was done and finished in 29th position.

The talented racer will be competing in the upcoming Junior Rotax European Championship and will soon be flying out to Genk in Belgium for the first round.

In April Josh will be contesting the first round of the Super One Junior Rotax Championship and later in the year hopes to race in the last three rounds of the Ginetta G40 Championship.

Price is looking for sponsors and can be contacted via his website www.joshpricekarting.co.uk.
