Cup win for Tansley over London Colney Blues

Tansley clinched a 2-1 extra time win over over London Colney Blues in the second round of the Bingham Cox Cup.

Aaron Ames was the lone scorer for the Blues, with Dan Purkiss and Andy Simmons replying for Tansley.

The match between and FC Cornerstone and Barmond Utd was not played as Cornerstone were involved in a Christian Cup match, which they won 6-1.

In the league, a Josh Dance hat-trick allowed St Ippolyts to beat AFC Baldock 3-2 in the final ten minutes. Josh Cambourn-Paynter and Adam Walker scored for Baldock.

Warriors XI were comfortable 4-0 winners over Buntingford Cougars with two goals from Phil Hammond and one apiece from John Malone and Scott Taylor.

City Hearts could not field a side and conceded the points to FC Letchworth.
