St Albans City goalkeeper Nick Jupp has been released by the club.
The shot stopper’s two-year contract at Clarence Park has come to an end and Jupp has decided to look for full-time football at a higher level.
Jupp moved to the Saints in 2011 from Harrow Borough after he was brought to the club by former boss David Howell.
Joint manager Graham Golds said: "It was a mutual decision after Nick told us he wanted to try and play full-time football. There are no hard feelings from anyone."
Golds and James Gray will be on the lookout to find a replacement and have been linked with a return move for veteran keeper Paul Bastock.
He has been playing for Worksop but has fond memories of his time with the Saints where he made 260 appearances.
