Harpenden Colts brush aside Bishops Stortford

Harpenden Colts Under-11 Girls produced another impressive display to claim a 7-2 win over Bishops Stortford.
A double hat-trick from Mia Pinkham and a goal from player of the match Megan King fired them to the comfortable victory.
The Under-17 Albion lost 3-2 to the Under-18 King George Vipers in the Mid Herts Rural Minors League.
Dan Villareal and Lawrence Waldram were on target and for the second week running goalkeeper Adam Roche was named man-of-the-match.
Harpenden Colts Blue Ravens Under-11s cruised to a 6-1 win over Bury Rangers despite playing the entire match with only eight players.
Ollie Brien netted a hat-trick while Freddie Hubbard, Noah Boxall and Jamie Cutler were also on target.
The Under-10 Pumas drew 4-4 against Elite Feet Harpenden Hawks.
The scorers for the Colts were man-of-the-match Jay McCarney Redford with a hat-trick and Elliot Lord.
The Jaguars played some superb football running out 2-1 winners against Elite Feet Southgate Pumas after efforts from star player Thomas Wightman and Ethan Maeer.
Harpenden Tigers won a thrilling match 4-3 against Wormley Youth Blacks after Oliver Murat scored all four goals and was named man-of-the-match.
The Panthers continued their winning run, beating Ware Youth Whites 3-1 with the scorers Gabriel Tinnion (2) and Charlie Culank.
The Dragons battled hard but lost 4-0 to Frontier Youth with Nikhil Mehra man-of-the-match.
In the County Cup, Harpenden Colts Rovers Under-17 defeated Hormead Hares 11-0.
Josh King struck four goals while there were efforts from Jamie Jones (2), Sam Spranger (2), Will Chisholm, Jake Collins and an own goal from Hormead. Luke Dawson was named-man-of-the-match.
Harpenden Colts Under-16 Warriors are looking for a replacement goalkeeper to play in their team.
The side currently play in the Premier Division of the Mid Herts Rural Minors league on Sundays and are challenging for all honours.
