St Albans City Youth Under-14s cruised to a 6-1 win at Edson Youth.

Harvey Holmes netted a hat-trick while Luke Gibbins scored a brace before Jake Penny rounded off the scoring. The pacy Jimmy Nicolson, who created problems for the home defence, was named man of the match.

The Under-14s South suffered their first league defeat of the season when they lost 5-1 away to Enfield Rangers.

Keeper Andrew Bailey won the man-of-the-match and Ronan-Marie Moutou scored the Saints' only goal.

The Under-11s North lost 5-3 at home to Austin Arrowheads.

St Albans Under-11s Orient went down 4-2 to Risden Wood with goals from Brendan Donegan and star player Ollie Smith.

The Under-11s Central lost 2-0 to Broomfield Youth after conceding twice late on.

St Albans Under-11s East eased to a 7-1 win over Berkhamsted White.

The goals were scored by Alex Manzi (2), Benjamin Piles (2), Aidan Walsh, Ted Parkes and Joshua Killick.

The Under-14 Girls North won their eighth game in a row as they scored four times at Harpenden Colts.

Emily Schofield, Charlotte Boyle, Rose Noden and Olivia Barnes found the net.

St Albans Under-14 Girls North also took part in a Futsal Tournament with Garston Girls which resulted in both of the Saints teams finishing in first and second place.

The Blues finished first with goals from Dani Tyler (8), Julia Draper (6), Melissa Godino, Louisa Ellis and Charlotte Boyle.

The Yellows scorers were Emily Schofield (3), Ciara Robinson (4) and Shauna Smith.

Amber Smith scored the equalising goal for the Under-14 Girls South in their 1-1 draw away to Garston.

Despite a battling performance from the Under-13 Girls North in the League Shield with Garston, they lost 4-0.

The Under-13 Girls South lost 2-1 away to Harpenden in the League Cup with Lauren Standing scoring their consolation.

The Under-12 Girls lost 3-2 to Garston despite strikes from Laura Gilford and the impressive Jess Simpson.

St Albans Under-11 Girls drew 2-2 at home to Denham Pumas with Sian Watson and Susie Weidsmann finding the net.

The Under-10 Girls played Hitchin Belles in their fun match with Zoe Cowan (4), Jasmine Price (3), Grace Oldman (2), Maddy Caffery and Sienna Desiderio on target.
