Children in St Albans will have the chance to receive free training by a coach from a professional football club next week.

GK Icon, which has centres across the UK and around the world, is opening an a goalkeeping academy in St Albans and will be hosting a free taster session on Wednesday next week.

It will be run by Crystal Palace’s head academy goalkeeping coach Gary Phillips between 6pm and 8pm at Harvesters FC in Oaklands Lane, Smallford.
