A superb 5-0 win over Tring saw St Albans City Under-10s through to the quarter-finals of the County Cup.

Jonathan Lee started the scoring for St Albans with a penalty while midfielder Jack Cullen and striker Luke Roberts grabbed a brace each.

The Under-18s West were comfortable winners at home, beating Highgate & Muswell 4-1.

Three goals came in the first half from Shay Emerton, Gus Scott, Kieran Irons and a fourth was added by Saul Beels shortly after the break.

The Under-12s girls’ futsal team thrashed Harvesters 8-1 in the opening match of the group stages of the Herts Futsal Cup.

Hannah Coote stole the show with four goals, while Lauren Walker grabbed a hat-trick and Melissa Trulock added another.

The Under-11s West convincingly beat Wormley Youth Blacks 3-0.

Matthew Roome scored the opening two goals and Luke Hill added the third.

Terrible conditions could not stop the Under-11s Central from putting in a classy and tenacious performance to comfortably win 5-2 away to Brimsdown Rovers.

Two goals from Tom McVeigh and one each from Nick Powdrell, James McVeigh and Luis Moreno rounded off the scoring.

The Under-11s North were only losing 4-3 with ten minutes to go against Welwyn Pagasus but eventually went on to lose 6-3.

Alex Harris and Thomas Cooper scored the goals for North whilst defensive midfielder Jake Fleming was named the side’s man-of-the-match.
