A goal from Abbie Smith sealed a place in the League Shield final for St Albans City Youth’s Under-14 Girls South.

The side were taking on Harpenden in the last four and Smith’s 65th-minute strike proved the difference between the two teams. Nia Williams was named player of the match.

The Under-13 Girls North were in good goal scoring form as they thumped King George 5-2. Lorna Speed struck a hat-trick while Melissa Trulock hit a brace.

There was an inter-club derby as the Under-13s North faced the Under-13s Orient. The latter came out on top with Finbar King netting a hat-trick. Freddie Wilkinson and Luke Gymer were also on target.

There were five different scorers for the Under-15s South in their 5-1 win against Oakhill Tigers.

Ryan Ladyman, Tom Ruane, James Nasah, Harry Newman-Booth and Billy Lawrence all found the back of the net.
