The President of St Albans Bowling Club Rod Perks welcomed the Mayor before they participated in a friendly match.

If you are interested in taking up bowls the club will be running three free coaching courses to give newcomers the opportunity to learn the game. These will take place at the club in Clarence Park with a choice of Thursday mornings, Friday evenings and Saturday mornings starting at the end of April.

They will be run at the same time for four consecutive weeks. Each session will be for approximately two hours. All equipment will be provided but participants will need are flat soled shoes. Course places are limited and need to be booked in advance.

If you are interested in taking part or need to know more information contact Carole or Trevor Ewer by email on carole@ewerfamily.co.uk or call 01727824483 to secure your place.
