St Albans City Youth Under-14s West clinched a victory over the East team on penalties in Holland.

The side were trailing 1-0 before a clinical finish from Gianpaulo Manzi forced penalties.

The West team came out on top in the penalty shoot-out as they won 4-3.

The Under-18s East competed in the Holland Cup where they came fourth overall.

Goalkeeper Bradley Bennett conceded a penalty but redeemed himself with a save in the 0-0 draw.

City lost 4-1 to AS 80 despite a stunning consolation strike from Edward Lawford.

St Albans won the next match 2-0 after two goals from Bradley Kelly-Keener.

Their final game saw them earn a 0-0 draw.

The Under-18s lost to Liege 2-0 before Anthony Gosling scored his 150th goal for the club which turn out to be the winner.

The team went into the third-fourth place play off where Gosling scored again in their 2-1 defeat.

The Under-18s only lost games to the three teams who finished above them as they came fourth out of nine teams.
