St Albans Bowls Club were held to a 47-47 midweek draw against Batchwood.
The top rink for St Albans was Pauline Gardiner, Maggie Kendrick, Sylvia Cooper and Tricia Gascoine (22-8).
Batchwood's top rink was Kate Horner, Vera Baddams, Sylvia Brewster and Liz Schlatter (24-9).
The annual match between the men and the ladies saw the women win 47-38.
The Ladies lost 69-68 to Batchwood in the preliminary round of the Top Club.
St Albans played Baldock Town on Saturday in a mixed rink match losing 81-71. The winning rink was Andy Kay, Susan Fogarty, Tom Banfield, and Ted Salvidge (22-17).
The team lost 68-59 on Sunday to Wardown Park in a mixed triples match. The top rink was Peter Kay, Colin Orchard, and Sandra Orchard.
