St Albans Judo Club came away with six gold medals at the British Judo Council Open Nationals.
Out of the 24 entrants from the club, members won a total of 19 medals, including four silvers and nine bronze.
Chief Instructor Andrew Paveley said: "I am extremely proud of all the club members who entered this very tough competition. Their hard work and dedication to their training has certainly paid off, shown by these great results.
"Those who did not medal should also be very proud of themselves as they all showed great potential in their competition judo."
The dedication of all the coaches and students is shown by the fact that seven junior and senior members of the club have been selected to represent Team BJC in Antwerp later this month.
