St Albans based youngsters Dylan Jones and Will Pritchard got their chance to impress for Arsenal Soccer Schools in matches against against Chelsea and Norwich’s elite development centres.

The pair train at the Arsenal Soccer schools development centre based at Longdean Sportspace. Jones and Pritchard are part of the Arsenal Soccer Schools Advanced training programme.

The Arsenal squad performed well against Chelsea but struggled to finish their chances with the two matches ending in 1-0 and 3-0 defeats.

Jones and Pritchard helped the Under-10 squad produce a much sharper performance against Norwich as they claimed 6-3 and 6-1 victories.

“I was extremely pleased with all of the boys that took part,” said head of Arsenal Soccer School’s Hertfordshire development Simon Blundell.

“They played some outstanding football against some really high class opposition and I hope that they continue to work just as hard as they have been.”

Arsenal Soccer Schools are holding their holiday camp at Longdean Sportspace between August 18-20. For more information log on to www.playthearsenalway.com.
