London Colney eased to a 4-1 home friendly win over Eton Manor on Saturday.

Manager Jim Nicolls used a 19-man squad for the match and they found themselves 1-0 down with new keeper Jack Smith having no chance to save a close-range shot.

It did not take long for the Blueboys to hit back when Greg Shaw powerfully headed home a cross from the right by Dan Power.

The hosts took the lead when Russell Gallagher converted a penalty after being tripped in the area.

The Blueboys then started to control the match and another new signing Jason Beck went close with a couple of efforts.

London Colney made it 3-1 when Jimmy Warner cut into the area and set up Jimmy Hartley for a lofted finish.

The Blueboys completed the win when Cain Davey fired the ball home from eight yards out.

The Reserves won 3-2 at Hinton after goals from Simon Beazley, Jonathan Fox and Glen Ilahmi.

London Colney host St Albans City Under-21s tomorrow [Thursday] before entertaining Northwood on Saturday.
