Two Townsend teams will meet in the District Championship final after securing victory against their opponents in the semi-finals.
Jason Hall, Simon Gilbert and Danny Marco easily saw off Harpenden opposition by 25 shots to seven.
A second Townsend team, made up by Peter Thomson, Roger Potter and Dave Houghton, overcame a fight-back from a Harperbury trio to secure 13-12 victory.
The two woods triples final line-up will be a repeat of last year’s, with both Townsend teams going head-to-head for the title.
There were further matches in the pairs semis with Thomson and Houghton taking on Colin Driscoll and Rick Catchpool from Harpenden.
The rink had been altered for the pairs’ matches, causing difficulty for all four bowlers throughout the game.
After a match that saw both teams equal it was Thomson and Houghton who claimed victory by the slimmest of margins, 21-20.
The pair will meet a duo from Hatfield in the final.
